WELCOMING OUR NEW RPDC PLAYERS We’re really excited to welcome 7 new RPDC players to BTC this September, meaning we now have 14 RPDC players in our programme! As one of 14 Regional Player Development Centres in the UK, we work to provide a high quality training environment for players aged 10-14 who are regional, national or international level players. RPDC players receive funding which makes tennis more accessible for them. We provide players with the best possible opportunity to progress to the National Academies (the next stage of the LTA Player Pathway) through: Individual and group coaching alongside players of an equally high ability Coach support at specific domestic and international tournaments A Strength and Conditioning programme alongside their tennis to work on their athletic development. Here’s what Matt, our Head of Performance, had to say about the new RPDC players: “We’re very proud to be such an integral part of the LTA Performance pathway.
